Marketing for us is about understanding people and technology, building awareness about how our solutions can exceed ambitions and solve societies big challenges. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate thrives on variety and is a strong collaborator with experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, comfortable with rolling up their sleeves to deliver on day-to-day marketing activities, as well as developing long-term strategies with a clear focus on developing the business to grow our client base and building a strong pipeline of leads.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as our brand ambassador working with our creative team to ensure the consistent and creative use of the brand online and in print as well as continually evolving our brand narrative and tone of voice to engage our target audiences and ensure our relevance in the market through clear messaging and compelling content
  • You will lead, build out and start executing fast on a marketing strategy, covering all external communications using social media, performance, PR outreach and attending relevant conferences.
  • To succeed as Marketing Manager, you are an experienced marketer with a broad toolbox. Being data-driven, scrappy and moving fast comes naturally to you. You are eager to experiment and be creative regarding new marketing channels but also systematic in your approach to scaling what works and cutting what doesn't
  • Define, maintain, and develop the marketing activities in close collaboration with the business development team, analysing client insights, trends and industries, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns and activities from start to finish, collaborating with key members of the team to ensure maximum impact
  • Maximise and drive the use of our CRM and marketing platforms to deliver streamlined and automated processes to support user engagement
  • Manage the Digital WonderLab website and social channels, continually evolving and testing tactics to lead nurture and maximise return through SEO and SEM strategies
  • Develop compelling content and events that drive lead generation
  • Build a high performing marketing function and team to ensure we maximise the right capabilities to support our marketing needs


Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record in marketing within the tech / digital sector, supported by relevant qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear ability to articulate and present ideas

  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns

  • Strong focus on sales focused marketing and lead generation

  • Experience of working with CMS and particularly Umbraco and managing websites and social channels

  • Have a passion for digital and experience of writing content for technology agencies

  • Have a strong network of press and media contacts

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tool
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity


  • As our marketing leader, you’ll be happy rolling up your sleeves initially to get your systems and processes set up (We have most but know people like to work with what they know)
  • Experience in high growth business / agency, start-up/ digital transformation
  • Passion for social impact, technology, and tech for good

Please note, although the role is flexible and you can work from home as agreed in advance, it is expected that you will work from our office in Bradford on Avon at least part-time and will be required to be in the office for critical phases of project delivery. We are not accepting applications for fully remote working.
